Maintain utmost dignity, decorum during LG’s address: Assembly Secretariat urges legislators | KNO

Jammu, Feb 28 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat on Friday urged the legislators to maintain utmost dignity, decency and decorum during the Lieutenant Governor’s address to the House on Monday. A bulletin issued by the Assembly secretariat, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), reads: “As already informed, the hon'ble Lieutenant Governor will address the hon'ble Members of the Legislative Assembly of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the Legislative Assembly complex, Jammu on Monday, the 3rd March, 2025 at 10.00 AM.” “The Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor's address is the most solemn and formal act, must be heard with attention and respect besides maintaining utmost dignity, decency and decorum,” it reads . “The hon'ble Members of Legislative Assembly are requested to take their seats 5 minutes before the arrival of the hon'ble Lieutenant Governor in the central hall of Legislative Assembly and remain in their seats till hon'ble Lieutenant Governor leaves the Legislative Assembly hall after conclusion of the address,” it reads. “Moreover, the National Anthem will be played by the band when the hon'ble Lieutenant Governor reaches the dais and also after the conclusion of the address,” it added—(KNO)
